How to use

One full pump is about 0.5 ml of cream and 50 mg of progesterone.

Regular cycle: after ovulation only, in the up to 14 days before your period is due. Use 100–200 mg a day: 1-2 pumps morning and evening. Before ovulation, use Balance Cream 20 instead.

After menopause: use Balance Cream 20.

Apply with your palms and fingertips, and rub into the inside of your forearms. Wait 15–30 minutes before washing your hands.

Can I use Balance Cream 20 and Balance Cream 100 together?

Yes, in the same cycle: Balance Cream 20 before ovulation, Balance Cream 100 after.

How long does a bottle last?

A bottle holds about 90–100 pumps. At two pumps morning and evening for 14 days, it lasts a little under two cycles. At one pump morning and evening, about three cycles. Tip: the label has a small gap so you can see how much is left. The bottom 1¼ inches (3 cm) holds the pump mechanism and never contains cream.

What if the pump doesn't work when it arrives?

Airless bottles work by vacuum. An inner plate at the bottom rises as you use the cream, so nothing is left behind. Occasionally that plate shifts slightly in transit, the vacuum is lost, and the pump stops. Take off the outer bottom cap and press the inner plate gently back into place. That usually fixes it. If not, let us know.

How should I store it?

The expiry date is printed on the bottom of the bottle. Once opened, use within 12 months. Store in a cool place, out of direct sunlight. Bottles can be refrigerated for long-term storage, and the cream can withstand freezing as long as the texture isn't grainy after thawing. Let it come to room temperature before use.

Is it vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. No animal ingredients, and no animal testing.

How do I recycle it?

Bottle, pump and lid are HDPE plastic with no metal parts. Recycle the empty bottle and lid as plastic. If any cream is left, pump it out into household waste. Don't compost it, pour it down the drain or flush it.
